Time Hollow
Time Hollow follows Ethan, a dude who suddenly gets this crazy pen, the Hollow Pen, that lets him rewrite the past by drawing holes in time. Sounds cool, right? But of course, messing with time never goes smoothly. His parents vanish on his 17th birthday and he’s gotta figure out why, jumping through different timelines to fix things while uncovering some dark secrets along the way. The premise is solid, and the mystery keeps you hooked, even if some twists are predictable.

Gameplay-wise, it’s pretty straightforward: mostly point and click with some light puzzle solving. The Hollow Pen mechanic is neat but underused. You’ll scribble circles on the touchscreen to alter past events, but it’s more about picking the right moment than actual creativity. It’s more about the story, which is fine, but it could’ve used more interactivity to keep things fresh.
The characters are hit or miss. Ethan’s a decent protagonist: relatable but not super deep. The side cast has some standouts, like his childhood friend Kori, but others are underdeveloped. The villain’s motivations are interesting tho and the emotional beats land well when they need to. The art style’s clean with nice anime sprites, it’s very much a product of its time. The music’s atmospheric but forgettable, doing its job without standing out.
Where TIME HOLLOW really shines is its pacing. It’s kinda short but that works in its favor. No filler, just a tight mystery that doesn’t overstay its welcome. The multiple endings add replay value, tho the true ending is the most satisfying obviously. It’s not perfect: some plot holes, missed opportunities with the time mechanics, but it’s a fun, compact experience.
