Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories
Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories takes the card battling madness of the franchise and throws it into a weirdly addictive but unforgiving RPG format. You play as a young Pharaoh who's lost his memories and has to duel his way through ancient Egypt to reclaim them. The game's got a loose plot tying it to the early manga and anime, but let’s be real, you’re here for the card slinging chaos. You’ll spend hours dueling the same NPCs, praying for good card drops and fusing monsters in hopes of getting something that doesn’t get steamrolled by the next boss. It’s a mess, but a beautiful mess.

No cap, I know zilch about Yu-Gi-Oh! so let’s shift focus to Mod 15. First off, this mod ain’t for the faint. It keeps the original 722 cards but spices things up with colored rarities, tweaked passwords and new costs, so even if you’ve memorized the vanilla game, you’re in for surprises. The AI's decks are modified to be way harder than the original and their drops are adjusted to match, so no cheesing easy wins. The campaign’s also been cranked up in difficulty tho thankfully, good card drops aren't as soul crushingly rare as in older mods.

Every monster’s now obtainable through either POW or TEC duels, and you’ll rack up more stars post duel, which is nice. Equipment’s been buffed too, with some giving 400, 500, even 700 ATK boosts, and spell effects now mess with LP in different ways. The mod fixes the OG's infamous fusion and equipment bugs, adds more fusion combos, and even throws in a new color and fixes Dark Chaos Mage's name. Best part? You can actually collect all 722 cards without losing your sanity, either by buying or winning them. If you gonna suffer through this game again, might as well do it with upgrades.
