Capybara Village
Capybara Village is basically «what if life was just about being a capybara in a peaceful village?». You play as a capybara who moves to a serene town and your days are spent exploring, finding items, selling them to local shops and customizing your character and house with new costumes and furniture. The gameplay loop is super simple and relaxing, you go on these little explorations to gather stuff, then you can deck out your pad or your wardrobe. It's pure coziness for the soul. ![]()

The presentation is impressive considering it was made in just 3 days, the pixel art is charming and the UI is kinda impressive, it makes the village feel alive and inviting. Since the developer reused music and fonts from his previous games, the soundtrack has a lo-fi feel that matches the peaceful tone. It's the kind of game you'd play lying with a snack, just vibing.

The future plans is where things get exciting, the dev has a whole vision for expanding the game: a brand new story, meeting new capybara friends on explorations, farming, a day/night cycle, seasons, weather and even a cute card game. He wants to add functional furniture, like a jukebox that plays music or an arcade machine for minigames, the ambition is real and people is begging for a full version.
The dev seems open to it, tho they’re busy with other projects, so it's one of those «maybe someday» situations.
To get Capybara Village running on your 3DS, your system first gotta have CFW to welcome little capybaras into your digital home. Once that's all set, open the FBI app from your HOME Menu and point its scanner at the QR code down below. When the download finishes, a new icon will appear right alongside your other games. Tap it, and just like that you're wandering through serene fields, meeting friendly faces and starting your quiet little life as a capybara.
If the game brought you some good vibes and you've got a few spare coins rattling around in your pouch, please consider tossing them into the dev's tip jar right here. It's a super sweet way to support playinstinct and it might just encourage him to keep expanding this game to the fullest experience. Every little bit helps keep the cozy magic flowing and the capybaras would absolutely love you for it!
