The gameplay’s simple: explore, interact with your family, and uncover little secrets while soaking in the pixelated autumn aesthetic. It’s inspired by My Neighbor Totoro.

The pixel art is lovely: crisp, nostalgic, and full of personality. The music and sound effects, made in MilkyTracker, add to that dreamy, lo-fi Game Boy charm. It’s clear a lot of love went into this, especially considering it was made in just one week; the writing’s sweet too, with characters that feel lived-in.

But... a bunch of players (like, a lot, me included) reported a weird reset glitch where progress gets wiped when changing screens or interacting with certain objects (the fridge milk, lol). The puzzle in the woods also tripped people up; it’s cryptic enough that some had to watch playthroughs to figure it out (again, me included).

Despite the hiccups, the game’s got heart. Comments are flooded with praise for its calming vibe, cute sprites, and emotional ending (some folks admitted to crying). It’s short, sweet, and perfect for a lazy afternoon, just don’t expect a flawless experience. If you’re into retro aesthetics and cozy storytelling, it’s worth a play.
