The Complete Saga, well, the portable version, at least. This game crams Episodes I-VI into one tiny cartridge, and honestly, it’s impressive how much they fit. The gameplay’s simple but satisfying: smash stuff, collect studs and solve basic puzzles with a mix of characters. The DS version obviously lacks the visual polish of the console editions but it makes up for it with fun touch screen minigames for vehicle sections and a surprisingly solid coop mode (if you’ve got a buddy with a copy). The humor’s on point too, seeing LEGO Vader bumble around never gets old.

The Clone Wars

Then there’s The Clone Wars, which dives deep into the animated series. This one’s a bit more ambitious, adding larger battles and a slick new overworld map. The ground to space transitions are cool, even if they’re simplified on handheld. The 3DS version bumps up the visuals a bit, but don’t expect a huge leap. If you’re into Clone Wars, the charm and chaotic battles make it worth a play.

The Force Awakens

Finally, The Force Awakens is the latest entry for the 3DS and it shows, the graphics are sharper and the gameplay’s more refined. The cover based shooting mechanic’s a neat addition, even if it feels a bit clunky at times. The story covers the movie with some extra flashback levels from the original trilogy, but the real star here is the open world exploration between missions. Flying the Falcon around Jakku or Starkiller Base is a treat. That said, the 3DS’s hardware limits the scope, so don’t expect the full console experience. Still, they're all neat games.
