Papa's Pizzeria
Papa's Pizzeria was the first restaurant game back before Papa's capitalism kicked in and suddenly it was Burgeria, a Freezeria, a Pancakeria and even a Mocharia.
Despite being a 20 years old game, it's still pretty fun! Papa Louie is off expanding his restaurant empire I assume, so his nephew Roy has to keep the pizzeria running. You take costumers' requests, spread the sauce and cheese, add the toppings, bake the pizza and cut it into the right number of slices. Sounds easy enough until you've got three pizzas in the oven and another customer is already giving you the stink eye.
The trick is learning how to manage all the stations without messing up someone's very important pepperoni situation. It's pretty simple compared to the later entries and there's not as much customization to mess around with but the gameplay loop is satisfying enough to keep you coming back. Plus, it's kinda nostalgic seeing where the series began before Papa's restaurants took over every corner of the internet. Roy deserves a raise honestly.

The game's design makes it a pretty comfortable fit for the 3DS. The touchscreen feels right at home with all the clicking and dragging, so playing it this way feels natural. However, this port is based on the original Flash release rather than the more feature packed like HD, To Go! or Deluxe versions. That means you're getting the older visuals and a much smaller selection of content, which can make it feel a little repetitive after a while.
Still, the charm is still there and the gameplay is just as enjoyable as ever. It's not the fanciest version of Papa's Pizzeria but it's a fun little homebrew project worth checking out!
Well, look at you! You've made it through the whole menu and straight to the checkout! Now it's time to get this pizzeria cooking on your system. Scan the QR code below with FBI and let the game install onto your system. Once it's ready, Roy will arrive on your HOME Menu, ready to take on your order! The shop's in your hands now.
