Slope

Slope is one of those deceptively simple arcade games that can keep you glued to the screen for way longer than you'd like to admit. You control a ball rolling down an endless series of neon green slopes, steering left and right to avoid obstacles, dodge gaps and stay on the track for as long as possible, the further you go, the faster things get, turning what initially seems like a relaxing little ride into a frantic test of reflexes. There are no levels to clear or complicated mechanics to learn, just you rolling and the increasingly unreasonable challenge of beating your previous highscore, so it's the kind of game that became a familiar sight on school computers and browser based gaming sites and I can see why. NEW 3DS PORT

As for its little appearance on the 3DS, there's an unfinished proof of concept so solid I thought it was the full game. You got the familiar rolling ball, basic settings, sound and even stereoscopic 3D support. On other side, the leaderboard doesn't work, the controls can feel a little awkward and the biggest problem is that the Play Again button is broken, meaning you'll have to close and relaunch the game after every single run, which's a pretty frustrating limitation for an arcade game built around repeatedly chasing your highscore. GatoNojao Also, the project was handed over to another developer in the hope of getting it into better shape but it was ultimately left unfinished and cancelled. It's a shame, 'cuz this port was promising. pepe_pensive

Good! You've made it all the way to the end of the track. Not bad. Now it's time to get this rolling to your 3DS. Scan the QR code below using the FBI app and let the installation do its thing. Once it's ready, you'll find your very own neon green death trap waiting on your HOME Menu. Just remember to keep your eyes on the track. Good luck!
