Sword of Mana
Sword of Mana is a charming remake of the original Game Boy classic, Final Fantasy Adventure, reimagined for the Game Boy Advance with vibrant visuals and a richer storyline. The game takes you on a epic journey filled with lush environments, adorable characters, and a simple yet engaging combat system that mixes real-time action with RPG elements. While the plot isn't groundbreaking and some mechanics can feel a bit dated, the game shines with its heartfelt atmosphere and whimsical charm. It's a sweet spot for fans of old-school RPGs, offering a cozy, if somewhat repetitive, adventure that’s easy to get lost in.

I've pre-installed a small hack to the game designed to streamline the often clunky process of switching spirits and weapons in the game, making it smoother and more intuitive. With the hack, the B button now casts spells, running is always toggled, and holding the R button allows you to easily switch weapons or spirits using the D-pad. Plus, the currently selected spirit is now visible in the battle UI, saving you from constant menu diving. Just a heads-up: the first spirit for each character still needs to be selected the old-fashioned way through the start menu.
