The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Set a century after Phantom Hourglass, Link, our hero, is now a train engineer, which is pretty cool. In a twist, he tries to save Princess Zelda, who’s been turned into a ghost (can't tell if she's actually dead). Together, they cruise the land on a train, solving puzzles, battling bad guys, and uncovering the mystery of a spooky demon threatening the kingdom. It’s all about teamwork with Zelda’s spirit helping out in dungeons, which adds a fresh twist to the classic formula.

The game uses a mechanic where you gotta draw on the touchscreen to control your train, which feels super interactive. But it’s not just about cruising the tracks; you also hit up dungeons and solve puzzles, keeping that classic Zelda vibe alive. The graphics have that cartoonish style, reminding you of the DS era. Plus, the soundtrack is lit; it really sets the mood for adventure.
The whole spirit mechanic is a game-changer. Zelda’s ghostly help adds depth to puzzles and combat. You gotta think strategically since she can possess certain objects and interact with the environment, which makes you feel like you’ve got a partner in crime.
Overall, Spirit Tracks is a fun ride (pun intended). However, some people dislike touchscreen controls, so I added an optional patch that allows you to control Link with both C-pad and D-pad.
