Galaxy Fräulein Collection
Galaxy Fräulein Yuna is this charming and kinda dumb game where you follow Yuna, this 16 years old airhead in Neo Tokyo who accidentally becomes an intergalactic idol and gets magical powers from a robotic fairy to fight the evil fräuleins who were the jealous runners up in her beauty pageant.
The story is super simple monster of the week stuff where you travel to different planets and talk to people, but the real draw is Yuna herself, who is the stupidest girl alive in the best way possible.
Gameplay-wise it's mostly a basic VN of its era, but then it randomly throws in these turn based battles where you can either attack or use verbal attacks which are just Yuna roasting the villains,
and while the fights are super simplistic and get repetitive, watching the evil girls react to being insulted is fun.
The production values are absolutely nuts tho, with full voice acting, animated cutscenes, gorgeous pixel art from Gundam artist Mika Akitaka, and a banger soundtrack that mixes chiptune with anime songs, plus it's got that whole MS Girl aesthetic where cute girls wear mecha armor. Reception back in the day was mixed with reviewers saying it's only for people who love bishōjo, but today, people adore this cute fluffy gay story.

Galaxy Fräulein Yuna 2: Eternal Princess
Galaxy Fräulein Yuna 2: Eternal Princess is a bit of a mixed bag compared to the first game, where they kept all the charming parts but messed with the combat in a way that's annoying. The story picks up with Yuna again and from what people say, her homosexual tendencies are even stronger this time which is apparently a huge plus,
but the plot itself is way more linear and railroaded than the original, like you barely get to explore or even pick funny wrong options anymore, you're basically just watching a movie with occasional pointless choices thrown in.
The battle system ditched the simple but showy RPG fights for a card based thing where you're dealt four random cards each turn and have to pray the RNG gods give you something useful and people mention some fights feel literally impossible unless the game decides to pity you after you die a couple times, which sounds incredibly frustrating.
On the flip side, everyone agrees the presentation got a massive upgrade, with even better pixel art, a killer soundtrack (except for one carnival song that apparently sucks lol
) and improved voice acting, so at least it's gorgeous to look at while you're getting obliterated by RNG.

Galaxy Fräulein Yuna 3: Lightning Angel
Galaxy Fräulein Yuna 3: Lightning Angel is the weird black sheep of the series where they turned it into a strategy RPG, but from what people are saying it's like the most barebones SRPG you could possibly imagine.
The story picks up with some Machine Empress showing up in the sky above Earth declaring war, so Yuna has to gather her crew which apparently now includes all the dark fräuleins and enemies she befriended in the first two games plus some new characters, and you travel through five chapters and like 41 maps trying to stop her and the whole thing has that classic magical girl vibe where Yuna wants to redeem the villain instead of just killing her.
The gameplay tho, reviews are all over the place but not in a good way, like some straight up says it's fucking garbage 'cuz there's no stats, no item equips and you can't even choose who moves when because turns are speed based and unpredictable.
On the flip side, someone said it's actually pretty smooth and easy once you figure out the training system and you can break the game with Yuna's all attack move that hits everyone.
The magical girl anime aesthetic is still there with fully voiced scenes and cute art but the music is apparently really strange and doesn't always fit the scenes. Despite all that, there's a weird charm that keeps people playing, like, they admit the gameplay is awful but they don't hate it because it radiates the same goofy energy from the previous two games, even if it's not the greatest SRPG ever.
